Free-flowing, Isn’t that what comes to our mind when we think of Jazz? Jazz music is an intensified feeling of nonchalance. Even though this beautiful form of music dates back to 19th century, it is something that has sustained over the years and still holds importance in the minds of music lovers because of its charisma and originality. It is a way of life, music for the soul. It has the ability to touch, move and inspire us.
Imagine this now, What if someone combined live jazz music, a café and fine dining, wouldn’t it be the best of both worlds? That is exactly what Arjun Sagar Gupta’s new venture Piano Man’s Jazz Club has successfully achieved; A paradise for music and food lovers. Located at Safdurjung Enclave and billed as the first and definitely, the hottest jazz bar, what catches our attention in the first place is the minimalistic and yet classy interiors. The setup is almost as if you are revisiting the 70s: Dimly lit, brick walls etched with names of jazz greats, wooden floors, a huge black, majestic piano, the stage wall embellished with mirrors and the chandelier above the stage which is made out of 58 trumpets! Whoa, not too shabby, is it?
Their cocktail menu is inspired by the Prohibition-era, with fancy names and unique stories of inception! The food is heavenly and goes completely with the ambience of the place. But live jazz music steals the show. Artists from around the world jam here and entertain the audiences. Piano Man’s Jazz Club provides an enriching musical theatre experience with luscious food and drinks and is an amazing stress buster after a hectic day at work. It is truly a breath of fresh air for the Delhiites.
